Frequently Asked Questions:

Q:  How many sessions are recommended?
Dr. Lee:  I usually recommend 10 sessions because that gives enough time to see how well the cosmetic acupuncture works for each person.  Results depend on age and health of skin, depth of wrinkles, etc.  Sometimes, patients purchase 5 treatments to test the program but typically purchase a 10 pack afterwards when they see results.  
 

Q:  What is the duration of a session?
Dr. Lee:  45 minutes.
 

Q:  What is the recommended interval between sessions?
Dr. Lee:  I recommend at least one treatment/week, but for best results, 2 times a week works well.
 

Q:  What is the recommended frequency for maintenance?
Dr. Lee:  Maintenance depends on a number of factors including the health/elasticity of the skin, age, sleeping posture and how much a patient uses facial expressions.   But in general, maintenance of every 1-3 months seems to be the average.
